|
1. When you arrive at Bellport Dock, Regatta Personnel will direct
you to a location where you may temporarily park for 30 minutes to
unload your Opti. (Empty trailers will be stored on the grass, east
of the dock entrance for the duration of the regatta.
See Bellport Village Map for location of ‘all day’ car parking.)
2. Opti storage locations are assigned
by the order of registration.
Your registration number
will be included in your registration confirmation and your registration
packet. Use the Park/Launch Area Map
to locate your assigned spot and place your Opti there.
3. Check in at the “Check-in
/Registration Table” at the south end of the tent.
4. Fully rig your Opti and
stand by it until Regatta Personnel have completed a
safety check
of your boat and equipment.
(Note: Some locations are under trees, which will prevent you from
hoisting your sail. In this
case, wait for Regatta Personnel to direct you to an alternate location
for your safety check, before hoisting your sail)
Safety/Coach boats
People bringing safety/coach boats may launch them free of charge
at the Village Boat Ramp on the east side of the dock. Follow the instructions
of the Dockmaster or Regatta Personnel.
Empty trailers will be stored on the grass east of the dock
entrance for the duration of the regatta.
Dockage for these boats must be arranged at the time of
registration. All
safety/coach boats without prearranged dockage must anchor out or
be tied perpendicular to the main dock using bow/stern anchors.
